Sophie Ballmer and Tarik Hayward are an artist couple living in the Vallée de Joux. Together, they have developed a hybrid practice rooted in their daily lives and their ever-changing home, addressing social, territorial and ecological issues. With love and a critical eye, they explore the tensions of living together, the family unit and our relationship with the environment. Their work was recognised with a Swiss Art Award in 2024.
