Mahtola Wittmer

A performance artist and visual artist, Mahtola Wittmer trained at the art academies in Lucerne and Leipzig, and subsequently at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In her work, she develops forms of expression that are both intimate and powerful, playing with subversion and raw truth. Convinced that the private sphere is also political, the artist is interested in the emotions triggered by external conditions or internal processes.
