Léa Katharina Meier works in the visual arts and theatre. Using clowning as a performative practice, she creates a sensory world that appears childlike on the surface, yet beneath it she explores, with biting humour, narratives of the body, grotesque femininity, and feelings of shame, abjection and jubilation.
